Children's Therapy Service - Poole Hospital NHS

These members of staff are responsible for the assessment and treatment of children from ages of 0 to 19 years, with disabilities and conditions in the Poole, Bournemouth and East Dorset area. The therapists carry out their work in the Child Development Centre (known as the CDC), hospital, school and nursery settings.  Services are occasionally provided to home settings dependent on a child's therapeutic needs.

Referral Procedure:
Initial referrals direct from GP’s, Health Visitors and parents/carers are not currently accepted and will need to be screened by a paediatrician who will refer on to therapies as needed.
